Islamic Development Bank Issued a No Objection Letter For The Signing  of a Contract With M/s VCON Construction Limited

Today, 2nd August 2023, the Islamic Development Bank issued a No Objection Letter for the signing of a Contract with M/s VCON Construction Limited who won the award after the bidding process and therefore, IUIU and VCON Construction Uganda Limited signed the Agreement for Civil Works of the Proposed Construction and Equipping of the Faculty of Engineering and a Hostel at the Main Campus in Mbale, referenced IsDB/IUIU-PII/WKS/0002/072023.

This was in the presence of Dr. SudhIr Ruparelia, Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia, Mr. Prabhat Mishra, Mr. Brian Muturi & Mr. Dharmish Vudha from the contractor's side while IUIU was represented by Prof Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda (Rector), Dr. Kasula Twaha Ahmed, Engr Dauda Semujju, Arch Ayub Kasujja, Mr. Sewakambo Hamza, Mr. Taban Rashid, Ms. Zamzam Ahmed, Mr. Mutyaba Abdallah, Mr. Mwima Abdallah, and Ms. Akampa Amanda Tracy our consultants from Symbion (U) Ltd.
